My friend wanted me to make her a skirt for her birthday, she wanted a skater style skirt but the rest was up to me. I used a Prima pattern but had it gathering all the way round not just at the front. I messed up the waistband changing it from a zipped fastening to elasticated so it’s thicker than I would like but apart from that I’m pretty pleased with it. I love the fabric which came from World Of Sewing in Tunbridge Wells.
